Another Georgia Bulldog visits the Cornhuskers

The University of Nebraska football team could once again be looking to the reigning national champions to help bolster the roster. Reports state that the Huskers will be hosting University of Georgia offensive lineman Jacob Hood this weekend.

Hood announced his transfer on social media,

… to the Dawgs family, I will forever appreciate and remember how you all loved and welcomed me. With that said I will be entering the Transfer Portal.

The Nashville, Tennessee native was a four-star prospect coming out of high school as a member of the class of 2021. He is currently listed as 6’8” tall and 342 pounds.

Hood never took the field in his time in Athens, Georgia. But he could become the third Bulldog to transfer to Nebraska this off-season after the transfers of tight end Aric Gilbert and edge rusher MJ Sherman.

Nebraska currently has ten transfers committed to join them this season, and all ten players will be coming from power five conferences.
