You know that draft season is officially in full swing when the entire NFL world descends on Mobile, Alabama for the annual all-star extravaganza known as the Senior Bowl.
As always, this year’s event gives some of this year’s NFL draft hopefuls a chance to prove themselves against top competition, with the benefit of an NFL coaching staff.
Here’s a collection of news, notes and highlights from the first day of practices Tuesday:
#Houston QB Clayton Tune…
Had the best day of the QBs here at the Senior Bowl.
In command of the offense. Made smart decisions with the ball. Most accurate thrower on the field. 6-foot-2, 216.

Miami cornerback Tyrique Stevenson is very impressive. Quick feet with awesome balance and body control. Easy mover with loose hips. Watching him in drills is pretty.

Just as “Jump Around” blasts through the speakers, #Wisconsin DT Keeanu Benton claims another victim, ripping through Oluwatimi.
Entered the week as one of the best defensive prospects here and he hasn’t disappointed.

I hope the draft narrative around Maryland’s Jaelyn Duncan stays “cold.” First-round OT traits that the #DaBears could snag in Round 2. Good start for him in Mobile. #NFLDraft @seniorbowl

NDSU Cody Mauch starting practice lined up at LG. Expect to see him moved around this week. Only played tackle in college.

Tyson Bagent has been throwing some real nice balls today. He seems like the best QB out here #SeniorBowl

You cannot keep up with Houston WR Tank Dell in space without grabbing him
He’s unfair in these 1-on-1 drills #SeniorBowl

BYU QB Jaren Hall has had a regrettable day at the #SeniorBowl
Just now, against air, he clutched the ball too long, then it slipped out his hands before he could throw it
Accuracy and decision-making have been recurrent bugaboos
