Riley Moss shines at Senior Bowl practices

There’s just something about defensive players, and specifically defensive backs, coming out of the Iowa Hawkeyes’ program lately. They just seem to perform and do so at a rather high level. Riley Moss is setting out to prove that he is the next one to make an impact in the NFL.

Moss broke onto the scene in 2021 and made national noise with four interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns. That wasn’t it, though. The Hawkeyes cornerback built on that season in 2022.

In 2022, Moss upped his tackle total and his pass deflections in his best effort to prove he is an all-around defensive back rather than just an interception artist. This earned him an invite to the Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Practices have just gotten underway and there are scouts from all 32 NFL teams there. Moss was arguably one of the most impressive performers in the first day of practices as he set social media ablaze with his reps in coverage, his speed, and his overall athleticism.
