NBC Sports officially announced its broadcasting crew for its Big Ten Saturday Night football package. Noah Eagle will handle play-by-play, Todd Blackledge will be the analyst, and Kathryn Tappen will be the sideline reporter.
Every weekend from September 2 through November 25, NBC will broadcast a Big Ten Football game on NBC and Peacock. In a press release, Executive Producer Sam Flood highlighted the experience of his broadcast team.
“When you hear Todd’s voice, you know it’s a big college football game. It has been that way for decades. Noah is one of the industry’s rising young play-by-play commentators, who has excelled calling numerous sports across multiple platforms for a wide range of audiences. We are thrilled to pair him in the booth with Todd. Kathryn has told the stories of so many memorable Notre Dame Football moments over the last decade in her on-field reporting and interviews. With their collective college football experience and great enthusiasm for the game, Todd, Noah and Kathryn join a production team that can’t wait to kick off the Big Ten season.”
No schedule of games has been released, but it would be hard to believe that the Huskers would not be featured prominently throughout the year.
With Todd Blackledge now officially apart of NBC Sports, it makes we wonder if his first Big Ten game will be WVU @ Penn State on Sept. 2nd. https://t.co/EtPyGoHNuS

NBC Sports chief Pete Bevacqua has already on record stated that Notre Dame football will continue to have its usual selection of primetime games each season. The Big Ten will take a back seat those weeks.
