For the eight weeks of winter workouts, Wolfpack football’s sports nutrition staff is recognizing athletes who are setting the standard for sports nutrition.
Director of Sports Nutrition for Football Natalie Faustyn says that to be recognized for the Nutrition Athlete-of-the-Week award, payers must participate in team talks, show consistency with pre/post lift nutrition and with vitamins & supplements, check-in with the dietitian, and do a good job with meal prep and planning ahead.
Faustyn and her staff selected one offensive player, one defensive player and one newcomer each week.
Here’s a list at the winners from the first four weeks of winter conditioning:
Week 1: Trent Pennix, Payton Wilson, Dawson Jaramillo
Week 2: Dylan McMahon, Davin Vann, Isaiah Shirley
Week 3: Terrell Timmons, Jr., Devan Boykin, Lex Thomas
Week 4: Porter Rooks, Savion Jackson, Brennan Armstrong
