SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah Football program earned four invites to the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine with Braeden Daniels (OL), Dalton Kincaid (TE), Clark Phillips III (CB) and Tavion Thomas (RB) all being named as prospects.

The combine will take place in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium from Feb. 28 through March 6 with 319 players taking on the biggest job interview of their careers. The combine will air on NFL Network starting on March 2.

Daniels is the first Utah offensive lineman invited to the combine since 2019 when current Los Angeles Raider Jackson Barton represented the Utes. Daniels finished up his career at Utah with 49 career games (43 starts) as a two-time All-Pac-12 selection, earning first-team honors in 2022.

Kincaid, who transferred to Utah in 2020 after earning All-America honors at San Diego, was the active career leader among tight ends in the FBS in 2022 with 2,484 receiving yards and 35 touchdowns. In 2022, he earned All-America status from three outlets (PFF, Bleacher Report, AP) after leading all FBS tight ends in receiving yards (890) and receiving yards per game (77.3).

Phillips became Utah’s fourth unanimous All-American in 2022, also being honored as a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award and a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award. He started every game that he appeared in at Utah (31), finishing his career with nine career interceptions and a school-record tying four pick-sixes.

Thomas wrapped up his career at Utah after earning All-Pac-12 first-team honors in 2021. The Dayton, Ohio, native played in 37 career FBS football games, recording nine-career 100-yard rushing games, and 2,484 total rushing yards.
