Not even the Super Bowl can slow the Deion Sanders hype. The newest head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes made his way out to radio row at the Super Bowl, and almost everyone wanted a few minutes of Coach Prime’s time. One of those media members was Sanders’ former cohost on the NFL Network, Rich Eisen.
During Thursday’s “The Rich Eisen Show,” Coach Prime caught up with his former colleague about the snow in Colorado, the fun they used to have on the set of “NFL Game Day,” most notably their old ‘Tebow chant, and how Sanders could never coach in the NFL.
Beyond the fun, Sanders laid out his blueprint after his success at Jackson State and how that can be translated into the Pac-12. Needless to say, Buffs fans found another ally in Rich Eisen.
