Can Miles Sanders break a record?

Super Bowl LVII will take place today in Arizona as the Kanas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles, a rare meeting of the two best teams in the NFL.

Some Penn State fans may be rooting for the in-state Eagles, but those not rooting for them can at least root for Miles Sanders. He entered a contract year with many questions surrounding him and he answered with a career year and led a rushing attack that has his team playing for the biggest prize.

Now, the best part of the Super Bowl is waiting for something special to happen. One player can set a record with a big day and for Miles Sanders what would a record day have to look like to be remembered?

While this record honestly may never be broken, Sanders may end up sniffing around is career high if the Eagles want to keep the ball out of the Chiefs’ hands.

Miles Sanders Career High: 144 Rushing Yards in Week 13 of the 2022 Season

While also not likely to be broken, it would just need a couple of breakaway runs from the former Nittany Lion to make this a potential.

Miles Sanders Career High: 2 Touchdowns on Three Occasions in the 2022 NFL Season

My vote for the most likely, if any, of these records to be broken is the rushing touchdowns. Tying it would seem the most likely outcome because again, running the ball will most likely be the key for the Eagles tonight.
