Going into USFL season 2, we’ve seen a couple of head coaching moves. First, John DeFilippo came in to replace Larry Fedora in New Orleans, and more recently Mike Nolan has taken over head coaching duties for Jeff Fisher in Michigan.
It looks like another possible shift may be in place. Jeff Ermann of InsideMDSports.com reports that Kevin Sumlin has taken a role with Maryland to serve as the teams co-offensive coordinator.

This story is very much still developing, so there’s not very many details on hand.
We’ve reached out to USFL representatives to get more information on if Sumlin will be returning for season 2. At the time of publication we have not heard back.
