Huskers offer top LB in Class of 2025

NIL opportunities may help recruiting

One of the top players in the class of 2025 has picked up a scholarship offer from the University of Nebraska. Madden Faraimo is a 6-3 200-pound linebacker out of San Diego, California, and he announced the scholarship offer on social media.

Faraimo is ranked as the top linebacker in the country according to On3, while 247Sports ranks him as the second-best LB in the class of 2025. Even though his signing day is almost two full years away, the 5-star prospect has already seen his recruiting pick up.

Nebraska is not alone in its offering of a scholarship. He’s also received offers from USC, Colorado, and Oregon.

Thank you (Defensive Coordinator), Tony White, for the offer to further my academic and athletic career at the University of Nebraska. The opportunity to play football at the next level is a blessing, and I am extremely grateful. All glory to God

Nebraska’s next big recruiting weekend will take place on March 25th when Matt Rhule and staff welcome 5-star quarterback and the top prospect in the class of 2024, Dylan Raiola will be visiting the Lincoln campus.
