For the past few offseasons, the Atlanta Falcons have been forced to restructure multiple contracts just to create enough salary cap space to fill out their roster. However, that won’t be the case in 2023 when the team is projected to have nearly $60 million in cap space.
This money will allow the Falcons to go after top-level free agents and still have enough left to re-sign their own players. The new league year kicks off on March 15, which is also the official start of free agency.
