Looking at the top recruiting budgets in college football

Where each Texas commit lands in latest On300 ranking for 2023 class

The Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State programs of the world find themselves near the top of the recruiting rankings year in and year out. This elite recruiting provides a considerable advantage over its competition.

Schools are putting more money than ever into recruiting efforts each year. It was reported that Texas spent $280,000 on a weekend visit that included five-star quarterback Arch Manning.

USA TODAY created a list of the college football programs with the most prominent recruiting budgets in 2022.

It should be no surprise that two-time defending champion Georgia leads the nation by spending over $4.5 million in 2022. Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas and Alabama round out the top five.
