Titans Release LT Taylor Lewan, WR Robert Woods and K Randy Bullock

NASHVILLE – The Titans are releasing three veterans from the team’s roster – left tackle Taylor Lewan, receiver Robert Woods and kicker Randy Bullock.

Lewan, the team’s first-round draft pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, told TennesseeTitans.com earlier this month he was bracing for the move. He was released with a ‘failed physical’ designation.

“In the next couple of weeks, I will be cut by the Tennessee Titans – that will happen,” Lewan said. “I truly believe that in my heart of hearts. Then I have to go into a situation that I’ve never been in in my entire life: I have to weigh the pros and cons of playing football, or not playing football (again).”

During his time in Tennessee, Lewan made 106 career starts, including playoffs, and he made it to three Pro Bowls. Lewan has had two ACL surgeries in three years, however, and he’s only played in 20 games over the past three seasons.

The Titans acquired Woods in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams last offseason. Woods caught 53 passes for 527 yards in 2022, with two touchdowns.

Bullock, meanwhile, joined the Titans prior to the 2021 season and kicked for the team the past two seasons. Bullock made 17-of-20 field goals for the Titans in 2022, and 28-of-28 extra points.
