The NFL Combine really is for all of those invited, but there may not be another team in the country who saw their draft prospects raise their stock as much as the five Iowa Hawkeyes did.
On the first day of the Combine, the Hawkeyes’ two defensive headliners, linebacker Jack Campbell and edge rusher Lukas Van Ness, were stars of the show with their performances and test results.
Following their lead, fellow defensive standouts Riley Moss and Kaevon Merriweather each took their turns lighting up the field in Indianapolis on the second day of the Combine.
Last, but certainly not least, was Sam LaPorta representing “Tight End U” with his draft stock improving day three of the Combine. He let the NFL know that he is ready to carry the torch of Iowa tight ends making successful jumps to the NFL.
As the 2023 NFL draft looms, their Combine performances are a great benchmark of their talents. Here is a look at the Hawkeyes’ Combine outings in pictures.
