The New York Giants and quarterback Daniel Jones agreed to a four-year, $160 million deal with upwards of $35 million in incentives on Tuesday.
The deal makes Jones one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL and just the ninth quarterback in NFL history with an AAV of $40m million or more.
Understandably, Twitter erupted following the news — both positive and negative.

You know, I like Daniel Jones more than most do, and I know that the Giants probably didn’t have another plan at QB if they let him go
