One of the top recruits in the class of 2025 visited the Nebraska spring practice on Tuesday. Stone Saunder of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, traveled to Lincoln to visit with Matt Rhule and his staff.
Saunders is a four-star prospect and was the 2022 MaxPreps Pennsylvania High School Football Player of the Year. The sophomore threw for 3,583 yards, 54 touchdowns, and five interceptions while leading Bishop McDevitt to a state championship.
The recruit has also received offers from schools such as Texas A&M, Kentucky, and Georgia, to name a few. Additionally, Saunders has stated he plans to return to Lincoln to experience a game in the fall.
