2025 offensive tackle Mason Short announced his commitment to Alabama on Sunday evening.
Short plays for Evans High School in Evans, Georgia. He has taken five unofficial visits to Alabama at this point in time.
Short is the first commitment in Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class. On3’s RPM had Short trending to Georgia. However, he chose the out-of-state program instead.
In an interview with On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Short said, “I felt that I could be developed into a better man, a better player, and be held accountable to play at my best against the best. Alabama really does have that factor – to be the best.”
