The Iowa Hawkeyes‘ spring work is in full swing. With Caitlin Clark and the Hawkeye women’s basketball team marching to the national championship game, football naturally took a temporary backseat for some.
It never stays out of the limelight for long, though.
As Caitlin Clark and the Hawkeyes were busy making history, Michigan transfer quarterback Cade McNamara and Iowa have been hard at work building continuity.
There’s plenty of reasons to be excited about what 2023 could have in store for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Offensively, it starts right there with McNamara. He arrives in Iowa City after his time in Ann Arbor, Mich., and brings with him the pedigree of a Big Ten championship-winning quarterback.
