As Nebraska inches closer to the Red-White Spring Game later this month, the first batch of predictions regarding the upcoming college football season have been released. College Football News has done a deep dive into the Cornhuskers 2023 schedule and made their initial prediction for head coach Matt Rhule’s inaugural season.
Nebraska will start the upcoming season on the road and in conference play for the second year in a row. The season will kick off on August 31st when the Huskers travel to Minneapolis to take on head coach P.J. Fleck and Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The schedule then moves on to its non-conference slate, with the Cornhuskers playing at Colorado and then hosting Northern Illinois and Louisiana Tech. Following their September 23rd class against La. Tech, Nebraska will then transition back to its conference schedule for the final eight games of the season.
