Agree to Terms with Cornerback Joejuan Williams

Williams played in two postseason games, with one start, for New England and recorded six solo tackles.

He missed all of the 2022 campaign after landing on Injured Reserve in August 2022.

Williams stood out at Vanderbilt, where he played in 36 games over three seasons and amassed four interceptions, 119 tackles, 30 passes defensed and a forced fumble.

The 25-year-old is now one of six cornerbacks on the Vikings roster, joining Kalon Barnes, Andrew Booth, Jr., Akayleb Evans, Tay Gowan and recent free-agent addition Byron Murphy, Jr.

Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah spoke to media members last week and said he planned to “add some people” to the position group, while also emphasizing confidence in returning Vikings such as Booth and Evans, both of whom missed a portion of their rookie season with injury.
