New Jersey Generals vs. New Orleans Breakers

The New Orleans Breakers and the New Jersey Generals will be facing off in a week four USFL matchup; where they will be playing in Canton, Ohio. The Generals are coming off an impressive road victory at Ford Field where they beat the hometown Michigan Panthers. The Breakers are coming off a strong win as well, defeating the Stallions for the first time since the rebirth of the league. This game could be a high scoring one, so let’s get to the guide!

Players To Look Out For

New Orleans Breakers

McLeod Bethel-Thompson: What needs to be said about MBT that has not already been said? MBT has looked like a seasoned vet since taking his first USFL snap. Being a 2x Grey Cup Champ I’m sure he is more than seasoned.

Jay Adams: When you can’t find Johnnie Dixon open you look to your WR2. Jay Adams has been a solid WR2 for the Breakers since putting on the uniform.

Jerod Fernandez: The man in the middle! Jerod has been a tackling machine for the Breakers as the Middle LB. Look for him to continue to make an impact throughout the season.

Vontae Diggs: Outside of Jerod Fernandez, Diggs has played the outside very well. He plays the position like a box safety, and with a couple interceptions to his name, you can see where I am coming from.

Neville Clarke: CB1! Need I say more? Clarke has been playing lockdown coverage all season long. The Breakers will continue to rely on him in the secondary.

New Jersey Generals

Darius Victor: Thunder Thighs himself! You cannot go high to tackle Victor or he will make you pay. Even going low on Victor is a chore.

DeAndre Johnson: Johnson plays the QB system by running the RPO/RO System well. He’s dangerous through the air and on the ground.

Chris Orr: Orr has been one of the General’s lead defenders this season. He plays the LB position at a high level.
