A former Badger has made the most of his opportunity so far in the newly relaunched USFL. Former Wisconsin linebacker Chris Orr is with the New Jersey Generals and leads the league in total tackles with 41.
Orr was a tackling machine as a senior at Wisconsin, finishing the 2019 season with a career-best 78 total tackles and 11.5 sacks.
Orr returned to Wisconsin briefly, working in player development before continuing his professional career. He was drafted by the New Jersey Generals in the 21st round of the 2022 USFL draft as the league came back to life. Orr is still looking for his way back to the NFL after a successful start to the USFL campaign.
