The 2023 season for the ACC should be exciting as experts, analysts, and fans all wonder who will be the top team in the conference next season.
Early win total projections are out for the 2023 college football season, with two ACC teams, Clemson and Florida State, standing above the rest of the conference from an early view. This was to be expected, as Clemson has been the top dog in the ACC for years under head coach Dabo Swinney. Florida State is arguably the most hyped team in the country right now, with some seeing them as serious contenders.
With early win total projections now out, we looked at FanDuel to see how the ACC teams look heading into 2023. Here is a look at the lines and what I think about them.
Clemson Tigers

Win Total: 9.5 wins
For the first time in a while, we see Clemson in single digits for their win total but at a -154 line to hit the over. The Tigers’ defense will be one of the best in the country, and with a new offensive coordinator in 2022 Broyles Award winner Garrett Riley, Cade Klubnik and the offense should improve. Clemson can definitely hit this over.
Florida State Seminoles

Win Total: 9.5 wins
The most hyped team in the conference heading into next season, Florida State has a ton of talent on its roster. Jordan Travis is one of the country’s best quarterbacks. With defensive end Jared Verse returning for another season, the Seminoles’ defense will have a certified star on the edge again. Assessing their schedule, this is another one I’d lean over here.
North Carolina Tar Heels
