Since the start of the 2017 season, which was Sean McVay’s first year as the head coach, the Rams have only been underdogs 24 times in the regular season. That number is bound to go up by quite a bit in 2023 with the current outlook of the team.
After the Rams’ schedule was released on Thursday night, DraftKings Sportsbook revealed spreads for every game on the 2023 schedule. For the Rams, they’re favored in only five games, two of which are against the Arizona Cardinals.
They’re also favored against the Colts, Commanders and Saints, but in the other 12 games, the Rams are listed as underdogs, according to the oddsmakers. They’re a long shot to contend in the NFC so it’s understandable that DraftKings would make the Rams underdogs in most of their games, but a lot can change between now and the start of the season.
Below, you’ll find the spread in each of the Rams’ 17 games. (Ex: +5.5 means the Rams are 5.5-point underdogs).
