Dabo Swinney and the Clemson football program head into the 2023 season no longer the favorite to win the ACC, as Mike Norvell and Florida State are receiving tremendous hype as possibly the new top dog in the conference.
For those who have kept up, the Clemson or Florida State discussion has been a major one over the past couple of months as sites went from dropping their way-too-early top 25 rankings to their post-spring rankings. While both programs routinely find themselves in the top 15 of these rankings and, often, the top ten, the Seminoles have consistently ranked higher than the Tigers this off-season.
From an early look, the battle for the ACC should be an excellent one between two great programs with a ton of talent on their roster. The one thing about it is these teams face each other very early in the season.
