The New Orleans Breakers continue making moves in the free agency period, now with the re-signing of another WR in Lee Morris.
The NOLA Breakers have re-signed WR Lee Morris, per the team.
Lee was an early season pickup for the Breakers in season 1, when he was signed ahead of their week 3 game, and didn’t blossom until season 2, where he exploded for 305 yards and 2 TDs. Now, Lee has a home again. pic.twitter.com/aS7zrLDJb4

Lee was not a part of the 2022 USFL draft, he was signed ahead of the Breakers week three matchup in 2022, and served as a backup player. Throughout the entire 2022 season, Lee only had one catch on one target for five yards.
His second season, however, was a different story. Lee appeared in all 10 games for the Breakers, and started five of them. He finished his 2023 season with 305 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 23 receptions.

Lee rejoins the Breakers with a strengthened WR room with the addition of Cam Echols-Luper, along with WR’s Jonathan Adams and Dee Anderson.
With a strong WR core, it would be very interesting to see what route the Breakers go at QB, whether or not they go with someone already on their roster (Aqeel Glass and Davis Cheek). MBT was released not long after the end of the season, so I would not count them out of the QB market during this free agency.
