Pittsburgh Maulers Sign Free Agent Linebacker Dorian O’Daniel

Another day, another blockbuster signing for the Pittsburgh Maulers. Linebacker Dorian O’Daniel has signed to the team, as they continue to bring in top tier talent for the 2024 USFL season.

The Pittsburgh Maulers feature the top defense in the USFL, and it just got better with the addition of Dorian O’Daniel.

Just a few years ago, Dorian won a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played there for four years, posting 58 tackles and a sack in 58 games played with the franchise.

His best year was in 2018, when he registered 34 tackles in 16 games played (one start). He was a quality depth piece for the Chiefs, but eventually fell out of the rotation due to other talent being brought in.

He most recently garnered interest from the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he was brought in for a workout during the 2022 preseason.

At the collegiate level, Dorian O’Daniel was outstanding. He compiled 205 tackles and 8.5 sacks across four seasons, dominating at Clemson.

Now, he is set to join the Pittsburgh Maulers on a defense that is already one of the top in the spring football scene. Jarren Horton has a keen eye for quality talent, and has struck gold yet again with another linebacker with plenty of NFL caliber…
