LOUISVILLE – Sun Devil Football junior running back Cam Skattebo has been named one of three finalists for the Paul Hornung Award.
Skattebo is a candidate for a major national award, the first Sun Devil to make this stage of consideration since Zane Gonzalez took home the Lou Groza Award back in 2016. The Hornung Award is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football. Skattebo is joined by fellow Pac-12 competitors Travis Hunter (Colorado) and Sione Vaki (Utah) to make up the three finalists for the 2023 edition. He is officially Arizona State’s first non-specialist finalist for a major national award since Terrell Suggs won the Lombardi, Nagurski, and Hendricks Award after a legendary 2002 campaign.
The winner of the 2023 Hornung Award will be determined by a national selection committee comprised of 17 sports journalists and former NFL stars, with a fan vote representing the 18th vote. Click HERE to vote Cam Skattebo for the Hornung Award.
