The New Orleans Saints wide receiver room got even thinner against the Atlanta Falcons as Chris Olave left early with a concussion, according to the FOX broadcast.
Olave came down hard out of bounds after going up for a ball from Derek Carr. Olave was in the middle of a big game, grabbing seven catches for 114 yards before leaving early. After an up-and-down season, it felt good to see Olave building an early rhythm with Carr.
With Michael Thomas going on injured reserve this week and both Olave and Rashid Shaheed both getting injured during the game, the Saints were down to the bottom of their depth chart to finish the game. It’s unclear who will be available next week’s game, as of now.
