The Chicago Bears pulled off an impressive 28-13 victory over the Detroit Lions, where the team recorded back-to-back wins for the first time under Matt Eberflus.
After choking away a 12-point lead in a Week 11 loss to Detroit, Chicago didn’t make the same mistake twice. While the Lions mounted a comeback in the second quarter, the Bears pulled away in the second half — thanks to a stout effort on defense and the dynamic duo of Justin Fields and DJ Moore on offense — and wouldn’t relinquish their lead.
The Bears’ Twitter account shared video from inside the locker room after Sunday’s win, which included Eberflus’ message to his team: “Now we know how good we can be.”

Chicago has really started to turn things around in the last few weeks, where the defense has finally hit its stride under Eberflus and Fields makes his case for being the starting quarterback in 2024. With four games left, there’s still plenty of evaluation to be had.
Now, the Bears will look to extend their winning streak to three games when they head to Cleveland to face a talented Browns squad in Week 15. We’re about to see just how good they are.
