Southeastern Conference teams will kick off the 2024 season on Aug. 31.
The 2024 season will feature Oklahoma and Texas joining the SEC. The conference now has 16 schools.
2024 will also be the first season with a 12-team College Football Playoff.
Tennessee will kick off its 2024 football season on Aug. 31 at Neyland Stadium versus Chattanooga.
The 2024 season will be the fourth for Tennessee under head coach Josh Heupel. Heupel guided Tennessee to a 7-6 (4-4 SEC) season in 2021, while going 11-2 (6-2 SEC) last season.
Tennessee compiled an 8-4 (4-4 SEC) record during the 2023 regular-season.
No. 23 Tennessee will conclude its 2023 season versus No. 17 Iowa (10-3, 7-2 Big Ten) in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl on Jan. 1, 2024.
