Analyzing Bears’ final injury report for Week 15 against Browns

The Chicago Bears released their final injury report ahead of Sunday’s Week 15 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

The Bears are relatively healthy heading into this game, especially when compared to the Browns. Wide receiver DJ Moore and safety Jaquan Brisker are on track to play Sunday while wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown and linebacker Noah Sewell have already been ruled out.

On the Browns side, Cleveland continues to battle through brutal injuries (and their injury report reads like a laundry list). The Browns are down to just two healthy starting offensive linemen with center Ethan Pocic already declared out. Defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo and safety Juan Thornhill have also been ruled out.

Here’s a look at the Bears’ final injury report heading into Sunday’s game with analysis:

  • LB Noah Sewell (knee)
  • WR Equanimeous St. Brown (pectoral)

Sewell popped up on Thursday’s injury report with a knee injury, where he was a limited participant. Unfortunately, he didn’t practice Friday and has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Browns. St. Brown will miss his second consecutive game with a pectoral injury. He missed practice for the entire week and has been ruled out.

  • WR DJ Moore (ankle)

Brisker has been nursing a groin injury this week, where he was limited on Wednesday before not practicing on Thursday. While Brisker’s availability for Sunday looked bleak, he was back at practice in limited fashion on Friday, and he’s officially questionable (a good sign he’ll be good to go.) Moore was a surprise addition to the injury report on Wednesday with an ankle injury that kept him out of practice. But he returned to practice Thursday as a limited participant before practicing in full on Friday. He’s officially questionable against the Browns, but he should be good to go.
