Brisker returned to practice on a limited basis Friday after sitting out Thursday with groin tightness.
Asked about Brisker’s availability, Eberflus said: “We’ll see where it goes. He was out there limited today, but hopefully trending in the right direction.”
Receiver Equanimeous St. Brown (pectoral) and linebacker Noah Sewell (knee) both did not practice Friday and have been ruled out of Sunday’s game.
For the Browns, center Ethan Pocic (stinger) and defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo (pectoral) have been ruled out; and defensive tackle Jordan Elliott (concussion), linebacker Anthony Walker (knee) and cornerback Denzel Ward (shoulder) are questionable.
With Pocic sidelined, Cleveland will play without three of its regular starting offensive linemen. Left tackle Jedrick Wills has been on injured reserve since Nov. 7 and will not return this season, while rookie right tackle Dawand Jones suffered a season-ending knee injury Dec. 7 in practice.
