Titans vs. Seahawks Week 16 injury report: Wednesday

Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans inactives for Week 15

With the Tennessee Titans officially being eliminated from playoff contention, they’ll need to play for pride over the final three weeks of the 2023 season.

Tennessee hosts the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday in the penultimate home game of the season. Unfortunately for the Titans, they’re currently dealing with a laundry list of injuries, and they’re set to face a motivated Seahawks team with playoff aspirations.

We’ll have to see how the week progresses, but there were several notable names missing from Wednesday’s practice, including quarterback Will Levis, defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, wide receiver Treylon Burks, safety Amani Hooker, center Aaron Brewer, right guard Daniel Brunskill, and cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting, just to name a few.

Furthermore, wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine was placed on injured reserve, subsequently ending his season.

However, there was some good news today. The Titans received a rather surprising return to the practice field in the form of cornerback Caleb Farley, whose 21-day window has been opened. The former first-round pick hasn’t been on a football field since last year as he still tries to put his back problems in the rearview mirror.

There’s no telling if he will play in any of the final three games, but his return is undoubtedly a sight for sore eyes.

As for the rest of the injury report, let’s take a look at where things stand following Wednesday’s practice.
