Dolphins are slight favorites vs. Cowboys in Week 16

The Miami Dolphins, after shutting out the New York Jets 30-0 last week, are preparing for their Week 16 matchup – a Christmas Eve showdown with the Dallas Cowboys at Hard Rock Stadium.

According to BetMGM, the Dolphins are 1.5-point favorites for this contest. They’re also favorites on the money line, as their victory is set at -120. The over/under for the contest is 50 points.

Mike McDaniel’s team has been battling injuries in recent weeks, as not a single starting offensive lineman practiced on Wednesday. This could be a huge issue against a team that sports a Defensive Player of the Year candidate in Micah Parsons.

Dallas has a similar narrative to Miami, in that they can’t beat winning teams. The Cowboys’ lone victory against a team with a winning record came over the Philadelphia Eagles, who appear to be reeling in recent weeks. Like the Dolphins, Mike McCarthy’s squad has the chance to score 50 points each week, which makes them a serious contender even if they don’t exactly have the best resume.

This matchup between the Dolphins and Cowboys will take place on Sunday, Dec. 24 at 4:25 p.m. ET.
