Colorado football walk-on DB Andi Etok enters transfer portal

On Wednesday morning, walk-on defensive back Andi Etok became the 10th Colorado football player to enter the NCAA transfer portal this offseason.

The San Jose, California product didn’t see any game action during his lone season in Boulder.

Before coming to CU, Etok was a walk-on at Arizona State, but he was soon let go following the departure of former Sun Devils head coach Herm Edwards in September of last year. Etok then attended one of Colorado’s post-high school graduate camps in May and received an offer to walk on with the Buffs.

Of Nigerian descent, Etok is close with former Colorado cornerback and current Cincinnati Bengal Chidobe Awuzie. BuffStampede’s Jimmie Searfoss interviewed Etok over the summer about his relationship with Awuzie and how it helped bring him to Colorado.

After two different Power Five walk-on stints, Etok is now up for grabs in the transfer portal.
