The Bills are back in the postseason after fighting back from a 6-6 record to win the AFC East and claim the No. 2 seed in the AFC with an 11-6 record.
Here is a look at significant accomplishments by the team over the course of the regular season.
Week 1 at New York Jets
- DE Leonard Floyd makes his first sack as a Buffalo Bill.
- WR Stefon Diggs catches his 30th touchdown pass as a Buffalo Bill to break a tie with Jerry Butler for the sixth-most receiving TDs in team history.
Week 2 vs. Las Vegas Raiders
- QB Josh Allen’s 13 straight completions tie a career high and rank third in team history.
- Buffalo earns their third consecutive win against the Raiders, the team’s longest winning streak vs. the Raiders since a four-game streak from 1988-1991 (including playoffs).
- The Bills hold Raiders running back Josh Jacobs to -2 yards rushing yards on nine carries, marking the first time since at least 1970 that the reigning NFL rushing champion finished a game with negative rushing yardage.
- TE Dawson Knox ties Jay Riemersma (20) for the second-most receiving touchdowns in a career by a Bills tight end.
Week 3 vs. Washington Commanders
- LB Terrel Bernard is the first Bill and first NFL player since Bears HOF LB Brian Urlacher in 2007 to record at least 2.0 sacks, 1 interception and 1 fumble recovery in the same game.
- WR Stefon Diggs passes the 9,000 receiving yard mark for his career, becoming just one of six active players with 9,000+ receiving yards.
- DE A.J. Epenesa returns his first career interception for a touchdown, Buffalo’s first pick six by a DL since Aaron Schobel in 2009.
- Sean McDermott coaches his 100th regular season game as head coach of the Bills.
- The Bills’ nine sacks tie for the third-most in team history.
