Cal To Host UC Davis In Aug. 31 Season Opener; Full ACC Schedule To Be Announced Wednesday

The Atlantic Coast Conference began revealing its 2024 football schedule Monday with the unveiling of Week 0 and Week 1 contests including California’s previously announced Aug. 31 season opener against UC Davis at California Memorial Stadium. The three-day schedule reveal will continue Tuesday (1 p.m. PT) with dates for all other specialty Thursday and Friday contests before the ACC releases its complete 2024 football schedule Wednesday (2 p.m. PT). Kickoff times and television networks will be released at later dates.

The ACC Huddle: 2024 Football Schedule Release Show on the ACC Network and ESPN2 will provide extensive coverage of Wednesday’s full schedule release and all announcements will be featured on the ACC Network’s ACC PM. The unveiling of the ACC’s 2024 football schedule is part of a full week of football coverage and commentary that will include interviews with all 17 ACC head football coaches on the ACC Network and ACC Sirius XM.

The ACC announced its future football schedule model for the next seven seasons last October. Cal will host four ACC opponents in 2024 – the Golden Bears’ inaugural season in the conference – with Miami, North Carolina State, Stanford and Syracuse visiting California Memorial Stadium. Cal’s first slate of ACC road games includes trips to Florida State, Pittsburgh, SMU and Wake Forest.
