Patrick McMorris announced on Friday that he has accepted an invitation to the 2024 NFL Combine.


Event For Top NFL Prospects Slated For Feb. 25-March 4 In Indianapolis

Former Cal defensive back Patrick McMorris announced Friday that he has accepted an invitation to the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine scheduled to take place Feb. 25-March 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Top front office executives, coaching staffs, player personnel departments and medical personnel from all 32 NFL teams will be on hand to evaluate the nation’s top football players eligible for the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.

The combine attendees will arrive staggered by position groups with McMorris and the defensive backs among those due in Indianapolis on Feb. 26. The first four-plus days of activities include exams, meetings, interviews, orientation and registration, and studies. McMorris and the defensive backs group are scheduled to go through the bulk of their measurable skills testing (40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, 3 cone drill, 20-yard shuttle) and an on-field workout March 1 before their bench press and departure from Indianapolis the following day.

Patrick McMorris, DB, 6-0, 210 (Santa Ana, CA/California/San Diego State/Santa Ana HS/Godinez Fundamental HS)

– Played in 55 career collegiate games with 40 starts spanning five campaigns over four seasons at San Diego State (2019-22) and one at Cal (2023), recording 252 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss (-30 yards), six interceptions that he returned 61 yards, 23 pass breakups, two forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries that he returned for 54 yards including one that he brought back 30 yards for his lone career touchdown, and 115 all-purpose yards

– Contributed totals of 90 tackles, a career-high 4.5 tackles for loss (-16 yards), his lone 1.0 career sack (-10 yards), one interception, a team-high eight pass breakups, his lone two career forced fumbles and a career-high two…
