The Chicago Bears are in the midst of a franchise-altering offseason, which will define the tenure of general manager Ryan Poles.
Free agency is just over a month away, which means Poles is busy doing his research on veterans and draft prospects with the draft just a couple months away.
The Bears are slated to have roughly $46.87 million in available cap space, per Over The Cap – before any trades, releases or restructures – and some roster holes to fill. With a good number of in-house free agents, Poles has some big decisions to make about retaining or moving on from some familiar faces.
We’re predicting whether these Bears unrestricted free agents will be back with the team or departing in free agency.

Darnell Mooney had a solid start to his career, but these past couple of years have been underwhelming. Mooney is in need of a change of scenery following a disappointing 2023 campaign where he was a non-factor on offense.

Yannick Ngakoue was signed to a one-year deal to bolster the league’s worst pass rush, but he didn’t have a significant impact with the Bears. With Montez Sweat coming off a Pro Bowl campaign, Chicago will look to pair him with a younger, cheaper option.
