Oklahoma is the only team with more players in the Super Bowl with four Chiefs players and two Niner’s. Georgia also has five players on SB 58 rosters.

Returning Gators
Tommy Townsend and Kadarius Toney are no strangers to the bright lights. Both former gators were on KC’s Super Bowl winning roster last season. Toney recorded one catch for five yards and a touchdown and Townsend had two punts for 98 yards. Toney also had a 65-yard punt return which set-up a touchdown for KC propelling them to the Super Bowl victory.

The Duo has a chance to become only the third and fourth Florida players ever to win back to back Super Bowl’s. Florida legends Emmitt Smith and Godfrey Myles won back to back Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys in ’93 and ’94.
New Gators
Jawaan Taylor and La’Mical Perine are both set to make their first super bowl appearances. Taylor was signed by the Chiefs this offseason after spending the first four years of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Perine was activated from KC’s practice squad on Dec. 24. Just 14 days later he showed why he is deserving of a roster spot with a 21 carry, 76-yard game against the Chargers on Jan. 7.
Trey Dean will also be heading to the Super Bowl in just his first year in the league as a part of the Chief’s practice squad.
