DURHAM βΒ Former Blue DevilΒ Noah GrayΒ and the Kansas City Chiefs are one win away from becoming back-to-back Super Bowl champions on Sunday.
Β
Gray will become the seventh Duke football alumni to participate in two Super Bowls as a player when the Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. on CBS.
Β
During the Chiefs’ AFC Championship win over the Baltimore Ravens on Jan. 28, Gray finished with two receptions for eight yards. On the year, he has compiled 28 receptions for 305 yards with two touchdowns.
Β
Should the Chiefs win on Sunday, Gray would join Bob Matheson as the only former Blue Devils to earn multiple Super Bowl titles as a player. Matheson won Super Bowl VII and VII with the Miami Dolphins. Β
