TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Football has announced the following theme days for the 2024 season. It marks the first season as a member of the Big 12 Conference and under the leadership of Head Coach Brent Brennan.
The Wildcats have announced seven theme days to coincide with seven home games during the 2024 football schedule. Arizona opens play in the Big 12 Conference next season and has some exciting theme days to look forward to in addition to being one of the nation’s best teams.
2024 Arizona Football Themes
- Aug. 31 vs. New Mexico – Native American Land Acknowledgment, Sports Hall of Fame.
- It’ll be a day of acknowledgment and support for Native American students and communities that make up Tucson.
- Sept. 7 vs. Northern Arizona – Hispanic Heritage Day.
- Join the Wildcats as we honor and celebrate the Hispanic culture leading into Hispanic Heritage Month.
- Oct. 5 vs. Texas Tech – Inaugural Big 12 Home Game.
- The Wildcats and Red Raiders renew their Border Conference rivalry on Oct. 5 at Arizona Stadium.
- Oct. 19 vs. Colorado – Homecoming.
- The Wildcats welcome alumni back to campus in the Homecoming tradition dating back to 1914. Homecoming gives the University the chance to celebrate Wildcat pride, honor alumni, and cheer on the football team against the Buffaloes.
- Oct. 26 vs. West Virginia – Family Weekend.
- Family weekend has been celebrated by Arizona football for 95 years and counting as the University welcomes families of Arizona students…
