The Chicago Bears are in the midst of planning for a new state-of-the-art stadium, but they’ve called Soldier Field home since 1971. There’s plenty of history that’s happened at Soldier Field — both the original and renovated stadium that opened in 2003. But one of the criticisms has been the stadium’s capacity, which is the worst in the NFL at 61,500.
