4-star LB Ty Jackson includes Georgia among top 10 schools

After recently scheduling a visit to Georgia football on for June 7, four-star linebacker Ty Jackson released his top 10 schools on Thursday, including the Bulldogs on his list.

The Seminole Ridge High School (Loxahatchee, Florida) product is rated as the No. 25 linebacker, the No. 27 player in Florida and the No. 193 recruit overall in his class, per 247Sports composite.

Jackson (6-foot, 200-pounds) has recorded 378 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss, six sacks, five forced fumbles, and four interceptions over the last three seasons at Seminole Ridge High School. Jackson also got snaps at wide receiver last season, totaling 257 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Jackson earned 247Sports All-Combine Team honors this year at the National Combine. The Under Armour All-American game also extended an invite to the talented linebacker.

Jackson will choose from among Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Florida, Oklahoma, Miami, Syracuse and Penn State when the time comes.

Jackson also has visits scheduled this year to Penn State (March 31), Florida State (June 14) and Tennessee (June 21), per On3’s Chad Simmons.
