During his NFL combine press conference on Thursday, Georgia tight end Brock Bowers revealed he has met with the Tennessee Titans.
“It went good, I thought,” Bowers said of the meeting, per Nick Suss of the Tennessean. “Just answering those core questions and watching film. Just letting them know about my football knowledge.”
Bowers, who is in play for Tennessee at No. 7 overall in the 2024 NFL draft, had previously stated he’d like to play for the Titans. He explained why on Thursday.
“I just kind of mentioned it as a cool place to live,” he said. “Nashville, Tennessee, would be cool.”
Tight end prospects are scheduled for on-field workouts on Friday, March 1, but Bowers is unsure if he’ll take part. He says that his reasoning behind that is not injury-related but rather “a personal decision.”

Bowers is considered one of the best tight end prospects to come out in years and would definitely be a good fit for the Titans because of their need for playmaking pass-catchers.
However, I think it’s more likely Tennessee goes with a wide receiver or left tackle with their first-round pick, especially with tight end not being high on the team’s list of needs to address during the 2024 offseason.
