The 49ers’ defensive coordinator search took awhile to get rolling, at least publicly, but now the interview reports are rolling in with the team nearly clear of the NFL combine and with free agency less than two weeks away.
At first it appeared they’d go with an internal candidate based on interviews, but now their search is starting to spread to external candidates as well.
Here’s an updated list of all the defensive coordinator candidates the 49ers have interviewed so far:
