Brian Kelly and the LSU recruiting staff took a trip to Madison, Mississippi, to extend a scholarship offer to one of the top tight ends in the 2025 recruiting class. They will have to fight off Lane Kiffin if they want to land him.
Micah Jones is a 6-foot-5, 225-pound, three-star tight end from Madison, Mississippi where he plays for Madison Central High School. The Madison Central Jaguars finished the 2023 season 8-4 with a loss to Starkville in the 7A state semifinals.
Jones currently has received multiple Crystal Ball projections to go to Ole Miss and the Rebels are a 94% favorite to land him per On3.
Film Analysis: Jones is a mismatch nightmare for opposing defenses. Kelly loves producing great tight ends and he could do that again with Jones.
