UFL & Under Armour Announce Expanded NCMFC Partnership

The UFL and Under Armour announced an exciting expanded partnership with the National Coalition for Minority Football Coaches (NCMFC) ahead of the 2024 season .

The NCMFC has been operating since August of 2020, and looks to create more opportunities for the minority coaches in America who deserve legitimate looks. In a quote from their website:

“The NCMFC will remove the roadblocks and level the playing field for minority football coaches. Through unmatched professional training and educational programs, the NCMFC will prepare its coaches for greater success.”

Russ Brandon, President of the UFL, is proud to work with the NCMFC organization, building upon a relationship that began in the XFL last year.

“We are proud to work with Under Armour and the NCMFC to expand our partnership for the 2024 season…The program is a tremendous growth opportunity for these coaches, and we are deeply committed to creating opportunities and providing unparalleled access to professional coaching at the highest level.”

Last year, the National Coalition for Minority Football Coaches had a pilot program with the XFL, in San Antonio and DC. Now, this partnership will be expanding to all eight cities in the United Football League.

There will be eight NCMFC coaches who will be reporting to UFL Training Camp on March 7th. They all have at least three years of high school experience. The selected coaches will be present at all five home games for their respective UFL teams.
