It’s been an emotional week for the Seahawks locker room, which saw the first serious exodus of players in the post-Pete Carroll era. Nose tackle Bryan Mone had been with the team for five years until he was released yesterday. Meanwhile, fan favorite tight end Will Dissly came in as part of the 2018 rookie class and had performed well until he was cut. However, the biggest headlines were the salary cap casualties on the back end of Seattle’s defense. That would be Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs, talented safeties whose contracts made them both expendable.
